Custom Waterfront Home Design – 880 Olajos Lane

This project at 880 Olajos Lane involves the design and planning of a custom cliff-side residence situated on a scenic waterfront lot. The design is being carefully tailored to maximize the site’s natural beauty while meeting environmental and technical requirements.

We are currently finalizing the architectural design in collaboration with the client, ensuring the home responds to the unique topography of the cliff-style lot and captures expansive water views. Special attention is being given to siting the building appropriately within the regulatory framework of the Cataraqui Region Conservation Authority, which mandates a 30-metre water setback
from the shoreline.

In addition to architectural planning, we are coordinating the septic system design to integrate seamlessly with the natural grade of the site. A gravity-based filter media system has been designed to work with the existing slope, minimizing site disruption and aligning with long-term maintenance goals.
